OBJECT_TYPE distinguishes project vs task rows; PARENT_ELEMENT_ID gives the WBS hierarchy.

Project costing data model

Costs arrive as expenditure items (PJC_EXP_ITEMS_ALL) grouped into batches (PJC_EXPENDITURES_ALL) — external costs come through PJC_TXN_XFACE_ALL_B. Costing generates distribution lines (PJC_COST_DIST_LINES_ALL) that Subledger Accounting turns into GL journals.

Project foundation: projects, tasks and teams

Projects live in PJF_PROJECTS_ALL_B with translated names in PJF_PROJECTS_ALL_TL, the WBS in PJF_PROJ_ELEMENTS_B, and the team in PJF_PROJECT_PARTIES. Project type (PJF_PROJECT_TYPES_B) drives costing and billing behaviour.
