ZX_ is the shared tax engine used by both AP and AR transactions — TRX_ID/TRX_LINE_ID reference back to the source document (e.g. an AP invoice line or AR transaction line).

Fusion Tax (and E-Business Tax in EBS R12) is a shared engine — the same ZX_ tables record tax calculated on AP invoices, AR transactions, and Order Management/Purchasing documents. ZX_LINES holds the calculated tax; ZX_TAXES_B holds the tax definitions it was calculated from.
